Name: Skye Little
Title: Gr00 Class teacher
“Every child is a different kind of flower and all together they make this world a beautiful garden”.
I started working with children as soon as I finished school. I began my teaching journey by volunteering to help at a school in Vereeniging. Getting exposure in this field, confirmed my belief that this is the field I wanted to venture into. I studied through the North West University and will continue studying my B.ed foundation phase.
As part of my teaching experience, I have also been involved in presenting educational shows for children.
I am qualified in Early Childhood development, I have NQF levels 4-6. I have also taught grades 4-7, English First Additional Language, as well as being an aftercare teacher for gr 1-7
I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to teach various age groups in pre-school such as 2-3year olds, 3-4year olds,4-5year olds as well as assisted in Gr0.
I am soft-spoken and love children. I believe that teaching is a very rewarding and such a beautiful experience. I have also got a love for performing arts and have experience in dance and drama.
My favourite part of teaching is being able to see the growth within each child by the end of every year.
I started teaching at ClevaMe in 2018. What I found, since I started, is that each individual that works here is enthusiastic, caring and loving with a passion for each little student and what they do.
I have 5 years’ teaching experience. I have successfully completed the Interactive Whiteboard Training Program, which enables me to integrate learning in a fun, relaxed environment.
